The Michigan Organ and Tissue Donation Education fund is fully maintained by voluntary contributions. Your contribution will be used to support programs that encourage Michigan residents to sign up on the Gift of Life Organ, Tissue & Eye Donor Registry.

Michigan Organ & Tissue Donation Education Fund

GO-Get Outdoors celebrates outdoor recreation and the role it plays with improving the quality of life in Michigan. Whether biking, hiking, trail running, camping, swimming, boating, fishing, hunting or simply exploring nature, park and recreation facilities provide opportunities for every one of all ages and all backgrounds to enjoy the state's diverse natural resources. Participants can improve their health while supporting recreation opportunities.

State Parks Donation

In the Fall of 2004, the Michigan Legislature passed, and Gov. Granholm signed into law, the Military Family Relief Fund Act. The Military Family Relief Fund provides grants to qualifying families of military members in either the Michigan National Guard or Reserves who are called to active duty as a result of the national response to the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. You may also designate a portion of your income tax return by entering your contribution amount on line # 29 of your Individual Income Tax Return MI-1040.

The Post Fund donations are used to provide the Veterans with special activities, entertainment and outings. The fund also helps with the purchase of dentures, eyeglasses, hearing aids, etc. for Veterans who cannot afford to purchase these items.

Dominic J. Jacobetti Home for Veterans - Post Fund

Help the Michigan Department of Natural Resources feed the hungry right in your own community. According to recent hunger statistics, nearly 44 percent of family members in households that receive food assistance are children. Please join the ambitious effort by Michigans sportsmen and sportswomen to provide wild game meat to local families in need. Funds received by the DNR will help pay for the processing of donated venison and to help local charitable organizations and food banks put meat on the table for those who need it the most.

Help Feed the Hungry Donation

Every 5 minutes a child in Michigan is a reported victim of abuse and neglect. More than 350 possible cases of child abuse and neglect are reported each day in the state. Statistics and experience tell us that many more go unreported. The CTF is the only statewide, non-profit organization in Michigan dedicated solely to the prevention of child abuse and neglect. Since 1982, the CTF has raised over $80 million and provided support to over 8 million children and families. Your support can make a difference in a childs life. Won't you join us today?

Children's Trust Fund Donation

<b>(Federal Tax Deduction)</b><br>
Michigan is home to nearly 700 species of mammals, birds, fish, reptiles and amphibians. The majority of these species are considered nongame animals. A primary source of funding to protect, restore and manage these species is the Nongame Fish and Wildlife Trust. The trust fund is established in section 42 of article IX of the state constitution of 1963 and provided for in section 43902, allowing the trust fund to receive financial donations. Your donation will be used to support projects like restoration of ospreys in southern Michigan, identifying and managing important migratory routes and stop over sites for songbirds, and restoring habitat for Karner blue and Mitchell's satyr butterflies.

The Michigan Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Monument Fund was established to help fund the design and construction of a memorial to commemorate Michigan law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty. The names of each of the more than 500 officers will be inscribed on the memorial monument, to be built on the Capitol Park grounds. Your donation will help fund the design and construction of the memorial, whose commission was created by Public Act 177 of 2004.

<p>For over 60 years the Michigan Children with Special Needs Fund (CSN Fund) has helped thousands of families with millions of dollars in grants. The Children with Special Needs Fund provides support for children in Michigan with special health care needs that is not available through any other funding source. The Fund helps with the purchase of equipment and services that promote optimal health, mobility and development, enhancing the lives of children and their families.
